ALDI recently reopened at Sunnybank Hills Shoppingtown with a new and larger format, increasing the footprint to 1,625 square meters and a complete store refurbishment to the latest layout and fit-out specifications.
A comprehensive refurbishment of Sunnybank Hills Aldi was carried out by Evolve, which included demolition, extensive structural work, new flooring, ceilings, lighting, and wall panels, as well as upgrades to the electrical, data, security, mechanical, refrigeration, and hydraulic systems. New joinery, shop fittings, and new registers were installed, in order to deliver the new look store.
Due to the compressed schedule and procurement lead times, team members had to be agile. As a result of this store’s de-fit and refit requirements, the team delivered the Fitout under a split shift 24-hour live schedule within 23 days.
