D&C initiative produced economical and timely build solution for heritage listed building with complex façade replacement.

Evolve were proud to have been awarded this project on a design and construction basis by offering an alternate tender proposal, providing the client with strong cost savings and significant reduction in build time.

Due to waterproofing issues, the heritage listed McDonnell and East Ltd building in Brisbane’s CBD required replacement of a glazed curtain wall system to the southern façade. Our solution maintained a waterproof and safe environment for the recently completed fitout and heritage listed items contained within the building. Evolve also overcame tight site constraints and access restrictions, minimising the impact on surrounding properties and stakeholders while sharing easement and loading dock areas that service some of Brisbane’s largest and most active buildings.
