Evolve delivered an award winning design and construction project for state-of-the-art new health club facility.
Flow Athletic engaged Evolve once again to deliver the complete design and construction of their new health club in Paddington. Evolve managed the full scope of the project, ensuring open communication and regular weekly program updates, while also overseeing design and budget management to meet the client’s expectations.
Evolve addressed significant design challenges due to the lightweight structure, ensuring it could support the proposed fitout and operational loads. This involved detailed site feasibility assessments, navigating Council concerns during the DA process, and raising the amenities above the slab to limit structural penetrations.
The project also required careful coordination to overcome limited access for trades, with a narrow stairwell off busy Oxford Street.
The result was a stunning, MBA award-winning facility (2013 NSW MBA Excellence in Construction Award for Best Interior Fitout $500,000-$1,000,000) that was delivered on time and on budget.
