This innovative facility automates the storage and movement of products, seamlessly connecting automated systems to team members hand-picking customer orders. The project involved refurbishing and reconfiguring an existing trading Woolworths store, converting 30% of its footprint into an advanced home delivery facility. All works were carried out in a live retail environment, ensuring uninterrupted trading.
Evolve managed the complex process of splitting and relocating essential services into separate fire compartments across three levels, collaborating closely with subcontractors and Woolworths’ dedicated contractors to deliver this milestone project.
